Many communities face challenges in building trust between health service providers and their patient population. To address this, the Maine Department of Health and Human Services partnered with MCD. As a CDC-recognized technical assistance provider for public health system partners, we created and implemented several strategies aimed at strengthening care by engaging with patients, families, and communities:
- Planned and hosted a World Café event.
- Organized a five-part webinar series.
- Developed practical and responsive tools for families and health workers.
