MCD Global Health has launched MCD Learn, a new centralized eLearning website designed to make accessing public health training easier, faster, and more intuitive.

For years, MCD has offered a range of online courses, both developed individually and with external partners across global, public, and community health. As the online learning catalog grew, so did the need for a streamlined, user-friendly home for learners.

Meet MCD Learn

MCD Learn brings all MCD eLearning resources together in one place, creating a consistent, modern experience for health workers, program managers, partner organizations, and individuals looking to build their skills in the realms of public and global health.

The redesigned site makes it easier to browse courses, track progress, and discover new learning opportunities. Whether you’re preparing for fieldwork, expanding your public health and health care knowledge, or training a team, the new hub is built to support learning anytime, anywhere.

Learners who previously created accounts on other MCD training sites can register on MCD Learn using the same email address to access their existing progress, certificates, and completed courses. By combining all courses into a centralized, easy-to-navigate platform, learner experience has been significantly improved. Learners will now find:

  • All MCD courses in one centralized space,
  • A streamlined interface and improved navigation,
  • Easier account management,
  • Better organization of course topics and pathways, and
  • A foundation for hosting new modules launching in the coming year.

“MCD Learn represents years of intentional work by our eLearning program to bring consistency, accessibility, and quality to how we design and deliver public health and health care training,” said Hannah Huggins (image at right), manager of MCD's eLearning Program. “By consolidating our learning ecosystem into a single platform, we’re making it easier for learners and partners to engage with training that is practical, inclusive, and designed to support real-world public health work.”

Ultimately, this much-needed update has expanded access to high-quality eLearning that helps health workers and communities thrive. Whether someone is starting their public health or health care career or refreshing their skills, the new site provides a more intuitive way to learn, grow, and make an impact.

Learners can create a free account on MCD Learn to explore free and paid courses, track progress, and discover training opportunities.

Organizations and partners interested in developing or hosting asynchronous or live virtual training are encouraged to explore MCD Learn and connect with MCD’s eLearning team to learn more about collaboration and custom training support.
