MCD Global Health’s online training programs have a combined total of more than 15,500 users in 50 U.S. states and 33 countries. We develop English- and Spanish-language online training programs for a wide variety of audiences, including medical personnel, public and community health professionals, educators, children, and others.
MCD specializes in curriculum development, voice-over writing, visual design and animation, and interactive elements, such as gamification. All of our eLearning programs can be found on our Global eTraining & Technical Assistance Center (GETTAC) website.
In 2021, the eLearning program team designed and launched a fully online Community Health Worker Core Competency Training Program, which has trained 30 community health workers (CHWs) across the U.S. with even more registering for the training this year.
Excerpt from Community Health Worker COVID-19 Vaccine Basics Module:

“The information was so relevant that I actually had all of our students take it for my program. A few things I loved about the modules was that all of the information on chronic diseases, it gives you just enough to where it's not overwhelming, and it's great how every module ties in exactly the role of a CHW in that situation. A little perk to that was the COVID-19 training, I thought that was great. The modules are great, they're easy to go through, they're not boring, it's nice that there are videos and that they're short, and they get exactly the material that they need. It was just a great training all around, and I recommend it to all CHWs either going into the field and certified CHWs.”
