Susan Wright
Board Member
Susan Wright, MPH, is a public health professional with experience in developing and managing reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health programs in Africa and the Middle East. She spent four to six years each in Burkina Faso, Niger, Madagascar, Morocco, Ghana, and Jordan. By forging deep and sustained partnerships with national health authorities and a variety of non-governmental health entities for more than 30 years, she helped achieve improved services and measurable impacts in health programs in multiple countries.
In Washington D.C., she designed and oversaw a portfolio of large global USAID health programs to support improved management, leadership, and sustainability and private sector partnerships for healthcare, as well as foster engagement with local nonprofit organizations in health-related programs. Now retired, she continues to foster improved health and well-being of marginalized groups in the U.S. and overseas.
