Elizabeth “Lisa” Whittemore, MSW, MPH

Lisa Whittemore brings 40 years of executive experience in healthcare. Recently, she was the principal of Health Management Associates supporting health organizations in Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
From 2012 to 2015 she served as the vice-president of the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Performance Improvement Network. Prior, Lisa was the senior administrator of primary care for the Brigham and Women’s Physician’s Organization. From 1999 to 2005, she was the chief operation officer of Fenway Community Health.
Among her other positions, Lisa was the director of Psychiatric Managed Care and Emergency Services at Emerson Hospital in Concord, Massachusetts, and, later, the executive director of the Emerson Physicians Hospital Organization.
She earned a Master of Public Health from Harvard University and a Master of Social Work from Smith College.
