Elizabeth Foley
Co-Director of Public Health
Elizabeth Foley has more than 30 years of health care and public health experience in both domestic and international organizations. She serves as the co-director of MCD Global Health's domestic division. She is responsible for the implementation, management, and growth of MCD’s portfolio of programs and professional staff. As a visionary leader, Elizabeth fosters relationships with new and potential funders, develops new innovative initiatives, and facilitates collaboration with organizations on a local, regional, national, and global level.
She joined MCD in 2004 where she supported efforts to bridge relationships with public health and health care to achieve The Triple Aim: Care, Health, and Cost. She has served as an advisor for MCD to national and state health improvement efforts. She holds an MBA with a concentration in health care administration and previously was the administrator of cardiology at a Tufts Medical Center as well as worked in global public health as the director of the Infectious Disease and Social Change Program at Harvard Medical School and operations manager for the global NGO Partners In Health.
