Dr. Eleonore Rabelahasa, a medical Doctor with an MPH and nutrition certificate, has more than 20 years of experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and supervising health programs, including managing and coordinating funding from numerous donors, such as USAID, World Bank, OFDA, EU, DIFD, CIDA, and UNICEF.
Previously, Dr. Rabelahasa led the health systems strengthening portfolio within the USAID/West Africa Regional Health Office based in Accra and managed three multi-countries projects in health system financing, medicine products and procurement, health policies, and human resources for health in private and public sectors.
She has provided technical assistance and guidance to ministries of health, local governments, private institutions, and non-government organizations on sector‑level assessments, strategic planning processes, and implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
Dr. Rabelahasa has technical expertise in project design, health systems strengthening, curricula development, leadership and organizational capacity development, conception and review of policy documents and procedures, improvement of quality of care, and logistics management.
