MCD Global Health’s 2023 Annual Report focuses on how MCD programs leverage technology to improve the quality and access to health services. Technology connects us to providers for appointments to avoid unnecessary travel, gathers data for better decision making, provides new ways to better consume information, and more.

This annual report is filled with technology-centered stories that focus on impacted individuals and communities, including:

• Leveraging technology to connect primary care providers with specialists for better care in Maine;
• Using an innovative data tool to increase equitable access to malaria control interventions in Equatorial Guinea;
• Launching a website to help those in the Northeast start their behavioral health careers;
• Utilizing e-learning modules and training to make impactful contributions throughout the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) Impact Malaria project; and
• Improving access to care through tele-behavioral health services for students in rural Maine schools.
