Staff assistance

Staff assistance is essential. Under the ADA, patients with disabilities are entitled to reasonable accommodations, including trained staff assistance with intake paperwork when needed. Plan to have a staff member available to assist patients. Other staff, besides front desk staff, should be trained and able to help with intake paperwork in the event that office staff cannot support a patient.
